I wanted to say thank you!!!
It was a heck of a couple of months. I can’t even begin to name all the amazing ppl that supported the campaign and whom we’ve gotten to know.
Besides my family, I have to first mention Tyson Kinzle. He is a dear friend and was the lynchpin of the whole campaign. It was just him and I steering the ship but he was solely responsible for the website, all social media, and graphics/logos. From the start of the campaign, his vision validated it all! He was born for the marketing role and his talent is unmatched. If anyone you know is looking for some assistance in terms of marketing, he is your man. He owns his own company, Beardman Design. Please check it out!!
To my family, friends, coworkers, etc… I love you all tons.
The calls, texts, emails, etc. of support, I’ll never forget. It was a tough go trying to manage family obligations, full-time employment(White Castle Roofing was outstanding), and run the campaign but we pulled through!!
To the people that voted for us… I can’t thank you enough for putting your trust in me. It was absolutely humbling and not taken lightly.
To the groups and individuals who endorsed us and volunteered… thank you, thank you, thank you!
It wasn’t the result we wanted but that’s ok. We jumped in this race for the right reasons and with the best intentions, we gave it a go. No regrets!!
To my wife and kids… thank you and I can’t love the 4 of you anymore!!
It’s not fun losing but there are many bright spots. One is, that I got a couple of calls this morning that we might have set a congressional primary record for most votes with the least amount of money. This means all your donations were amazing and were put to great use! We got 15,000 votes (almost 25%) and you all donated $10,000. My understanding is that 66 cents per vote is unheard of, considering we were up against millions of dollars. That’s a win in our book!!!
God Bless, love ya, and thank you all!!
Will do and thank you sir!!
Thanks Steve. All we can hope for is that Don Bacon realizes there is a significant percentage of people who really are unhappy with his decision-making and how he votes. Will it make a difference? Doubtful. A great first step would be for him to reach out to you and listen as to what your contingent of voters are thinking.
